  • The Tippy Dance Hall drew big-band names including Duke Ellington
  • Two shoreline preserves, including Indiana’s largest wetland preserve at 500 acres

Recreation & Fishing

Cold, deep, well-oxygenated water makes Tippy a standout for serious anglers — bass, pike, walleye, bluegill, perch and crappie — and a premier boating and skiing lake.

Water Quality

Long-term monitoring of deep-water oxygen and other lake conditions helps residents understand the changes that matter most for Lake Tippy. The Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams contributes research and monitoring, while The Watershed Foundation (TWF), the City of Warsaw, the Kosciusko County Soil and Water District, local lake associations, and other local partners support broader conservation, education, and stewardship efforts to help keep water clean throughout the Upper Tippecanoe Watershed.

Real Estate

A premium micro-market: Indiana’s deepest water, iconic amenities, and limited shoreline create sustained upward pressure on values.
